Description
Class Experience
Welcome!! In this ongoing course students will practice the concepts outlined in the 8th grade math curriculum according to the common core state standards along with Prealgebra standards. This class will meet live, 2 times a week to ensure that we are able to cover topics in detail and allow time to check student mastery. This class is taught in English.
I have a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and 15 years of teaching experience, 3 of which have been online.
There will be homework worksheets given at the end of some classes. Students will be able to email me their answers and I will give feedback to ensure the student understands the work.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
