In this interactive ongoing course, students will master topics on a weekly basis found in the 8th grade common core math curriculum. This is a full year course (with holiday breaks), with practice and feedback.

Description
Class Experience
I have a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and 15 years of teaching experience, 3 of which have been online.
There will be homework worksheets given at the end of some classes. Students will be able to email me their answers and I will give feedback to ensure the student understands the work.
I expect each student to come to class with a pencil, a print out of the guided notes (or blank paper if no guided notes are given), and calculating device for most classes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
