In this class, we will focus on writing a sentence.  This is not a handwriting class. Students must be able to identify and form letters on their own. 

Prerequisites: 
Students enrolled in this class should be able to demonstrate the following: 
A) Write legibly on paper or a white board or type on a computer, so they can participate in the learning activity. 
B) Be able to identify what a word is.
C) Write words with spelling assistance if needed. 
B) Have sufficient vocabulary to add descriptive words to sentences.

Students will identify the parts of a sentence- Capital letters at the beginning of a sentence/ a subject / a verb/ and punctuation at the end of the sentence. Interactive games will facilitate this learning. 
Students will practice writing sentences about animals through guided practice.
