Explore the Rainbow Arts & Crafts Circle Time- Celebrate a New Color Each Week!
Class experience
Celebrate the rainbow- one color at a time! In this weekly class, we'll be learning about a new color each week (and occasionally the whole rainbow!) and doing an art project together featuring that color. 🎨 We'll start each class with a warm welcome and show and tell. I have always loved working with children as well as arts and crafts! I've been a nursery coordinator, daycare teacher, nanny, and school volunteer over the years. I also have three kids of my own. I have a B.A. in linguistics and I volunteered for a literacy program for two years, during which I helped kindergarteners learn and practice their letters and letter sounds. I have my own Etsy shop and love doing art projects for myself and of course with kids!
I will send out a detailed list of materials each week for the specific crafts we'll be doing. Common supplies needed are listed below: Construction paper Washable paint (often also called tempera paint or project paint) Card stock Cotton Balls Cotton Swabs Glue or glue sticks Medium and large paintbrushes Scissors Paper plates
Some minor prep work for the craft may be required ahead of class. This may include gathering materials, printing a template, or cutting out pieces for a project. While grownups are reminded to remain off camera, adult supervision is required if learners are using scissors. Some learners may also need a helping hand on occasion.
