US Grade 5 - 8
This is a one hour, one time class for students that are interested in mythological birds. Students will learn about the mythology and origin of the legendary bird, the Phoenix. They will discover other closely related birds of mythology and compare them. Students will learn the folklore of these birds and discuss real birds that may have contributed to the legends. This class is lecture and slide based. Discussions are encouraged and students can participate as much or as little as they want. All students are welcome.
