Discover the vibrant colors of the rainforest, meet its diverse animals, and use adjectives and verbs to describe them. Along the way, we'll pick up basic conversational phrases for introductions and expressing emotions. Week 1Lesson 1¡Vamos a Costa Rica! (Let's go to Costa Rica!)I can introduce myself in Spanish: “Me llamo ____________.” I can count to 20. I can identify rainforest animals. (la serpiente, el loro, el mono, el jaguar, el perezoso, el loro, la ballena, la tortuga) I can say if rainforest animals move fast or slow. (rápido, lento) I can play a game to practice the concepts learned!Lesson 2¿Cómo se mueven los animales? (How do the animals move?)I can say how I feel in Spanish. “Estoy _____________.” (bien, más o menos, mal.) I can say how old I am. I can identify rainforest animals. I can say how rainforest animals move: (caminar, correr, nadar, saltar, volar, deslizarse) I can play a game to practice the concepts learned!Week 2Lesson 3Mi Proyecto (My Project)I can describe rainforest animals using 1 adjective and 1 verb. I can have a mini-conversation. ( ¿Dónde vives? Yo vivo en Costa Rica / Los Estados Unidos.) I can play a game to practice the concepts learned! Homework: Draw a rainforest animal and write 2+ sentences to talk about your picture.Lesson 4¡Pura Vida! (Pure, Life!)I can present my homework. I can say if I like or don't like rainforest animals. I can review all the topics learned. I can play games to practice the concepts learned! I can celebrate my learning!
