Why sight words? Sight words are commonly used words that can be memorized. When learners automatically know these words it helps them to focus on new words, increases reading and reading comprehension. Repetition is a great way to learn sight words and this lesson makes it so much fun! This lesson focuses on the words: the, to, and, a, I, and you. We will learn sight words through repetition and a special teacher made memory game! With graphics to keep learners' attention and a high energy learning environment your learner will love "Sight word: Lesson 1".

My name is Jessica and I am a home educator with a degree in Elementary Education (preschool through fifth grade) and a Masters in Reading and Writing education (preschool through twelfth grade). I have taught and worked with all different types of students from preschool to college students.
