In this ongoing class, students will be learning about a different horse riding/driving discipline each week. They will learn what special characteristics each horse discipline has, history behind each horse discipline, how horse and riders compete, and more! This class will be on a 14 week rotating schedule. At the end of the 14th lesson, we will rotate back to lesson 1. Each week, we will focus on one horse discipline, various horse related vocabulary will be integrated into the student's learning. Below is a breakdown of which horse riding disciplines will be covered each week. Upcoming Sections: Feb. 2: Hunter/Show Jumping (we will be also discussing the differences and similarities, thus the combo) Feb 9: Reining Feb. 16: Cross Country Feb 23: Eventing March 2 : Polo March 9: Cross Country March 16: Horseball March 23: Combined Driving March 30: Dressage (both English and Western dressage will be discussed) April 6: Barrel Racing April 13: Racing (both flat and harness racing will be discussed) April 20: Vaulting April 27: Gymkhana May 4: Trick riding May 11: Skijoring

Outside of Outschool, I work as an English horse riding instructor. I have been horseback riding since I was 5 years old and have been trained under professional instructors for over 10 years! I love sharing the knowledge that I have picked up along the way with other horse obsessed learners!
