Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
In this one week flex class, students will explore a wide variety of the history and culture of Ancient Egypt while considering multiple perspectives. During our adventure together, your learner will explore some astounding inventions of Ancient Egypt, such as in the fields of mathematics, medicine, tools and more.

Students will enjoy learning using a variety of methods, including videos, slide presentations, drawing, brainstorming, and arts and crafts. They will be encouraged to engage in the class by asking questions and sharing their thoughts from their unique perspective in the online classroom discussion board (since this is a flex class).

To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject, we will also explore multiple viewpoints and interpretations of historical events. We will play a review game at the end to remind ourselves of what we learned. Please have the worksheets downloaded in advance of the class. These will help your learner to take good notes and consider different perspectives
