World Geography Explore & Map Draw: Africa Countries Cultures & Geography is ongoing class combines the studies of geography, cultural anthropology with map making and art. During the 35 minute class learners are introduced to a different ancient ruin and accompanying country each session. Starting with a brief video that will give a total overview of the country. Followed by a detailed geographic look of the country from environment to the native plant life. World Geography Explore & Map Draw: Africa Countries Cultures & Geography students are taking on a fast paced tour of the countries wildlife and human populations. What wildlife is native to the country, major predator's, as well as the breakdown of civilization before map making our way to the countries ancient ruins. Art can be a powerful way to help learners remember what they are being taught Travel the Ancient Ruins Map Making Art requires the student to create a map with visual pictograms representing the traits of the country. Students will have a detailed map of the country and route to the ancient ruins like a explorer. My teaching style for World Geography Explore & Map Draw: Africa Countries Cultures & Geography is light and fun encouraging learners to ask questions and express their thoughts. A digital copy of my version of the map art will be sent to parents for students to compare maps review and play or color. Note I create maze art and will make the map playable for learners to play and rein enforce the lesson.
