Welcome to Explore All 50 States!  Be prepared for some Geography Fun!

In each lesson, we will learn fun facts about each state.  We will start out each class introducing the state. As a class, we will fill out a worksheet provided each week to include: State Bird, Motto, Nickname, Tree, Flower Mammal, Fish, and Insect!!
We will find and fill out the State Capital, State Flag, and any other fun facts!
Learners will share if they live in the state of the day and if they have visited.  They will have the opportunity to print a copy of a blank map that will be uploaded to the classroom.  We will color in and fill in each state as we work on it, as well as fill in the information mentioned above.

At the end of the class, learners will share which state they were most interested in and why.  Each learner will have the opportunity to find other information and share with the class if they so choose.  We will learn about all 50 states in an interactive and hands on manner to fulfill all learning styles of each individual student.

Worksheets will be uploaded into the classroom and act as a great supplement for homeschooling portfolios.
Students may use the printouts uploaded by the teacher in the classroom.  There will be ample time provided in the classroom chat to inform parents and learners what will be required for the following week.

This is an inclusive class in which students of all ages (8-18) and abilities are welcome. If a student is unable to communicate verbally they are welcome to use the chat. If your student has any other needs that require accommodations please let me know and we will work develop a way for your learner to participate in a way that they are able.

This ongoing class meets each week, without a set end date.
