This ongoing science club is focused on introducing students to Marine Biology and helping them create explanations about our oceans, and explore what they are curious about. Topics will ranges from ocean connectivity to animals facts, to why there are tides, the different ocean ecosystems, how the ocean influences weather, and actions we can take to keep the ocean and it's organisms. We'll start each meeting with a question for the day, a video or hands-on activity, followed by explanation...

Ms. Rochelle has been passionate about the ocean since 4th grade after a snorkeling adventure in Hawaii, earned a Bachelors in Marine Biology in 2003, a Masters in Biology/Ecology in 2009, and has taught ocean science since then. Join to learn fun facts, science concepts, and ways we can preserve our ocean environment.
