Description
Class Experience
Each class has a different learning goal which will be provided weekly.
I am a 21-year licensed Instructor. I have been privileged to instruct thousands of students. 96% of my engaged students are successful on state assessments. I hold a Science Degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Currently, In addition, I have a Master’s in Instructional Technology pending with a 4.00 GPA. I have taught all science courses from grade Kindergarten to post-graduate courses to include Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, AP Biology, Microbiology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Environmental Science and many others.
The students will not have homework.
Materials will be needed for this class. They are typically materials that you have around your home. The materials will be provided on a weekly basis.
The students will be assessed as they engage in discussions and as they interact in question-answer sessions. They will demonstrate the understanding of the science concepts by doing the experiment or challenge.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Student safety is important. Although most of the experiments can be done independently by the students, passive parental supervision is needed when doing experiments or challenges.
