US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class, students will learn the different states of matter and be able to see a gas. The teacher will use slides to show the states of matter as well as talk about chemical reactions. All students will have a turn to say what their hypothesis is as we work through the steps of the scientific method. Students will be exposed to the scientific method throughout the experiment including making predictions before our experiment and drawing conclusions at the end. This class is messy, fun, and highly interactive! **Some of my one time class science experiments may also be done during my ongoing Preschool science lab! Repeating experiments is a great way for little learners to delve deeper into the topic and test different variables!**

Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree in Education from University of Maryland, College Park
Hello to Everyone! My name is Miss Meghan and I can’t wait to meet your child. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes for preschool and early elementary ages.
I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home settings designing programs to help students access the world around them in an empowering way. After my oldest daughter was born, I became a licensed childcare provider creating a home away from home for many children to grow and learn. When my youngest daughter was born, I decided it was time to explore other options and that is how I landed at Outschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity and love meeting new learners from all over the world.
I have a passion for instilling a love of learning in young children through exposure, messy play, and fun! I strongly believe that letting children delve into learning at their own level and allowing for different types of learning styles sets children up for a life long learning journey.
In addition to teaching on Outschool, I also homeschool my two daughters who are my pride and joy. I feel so grateful to have a career that I love that also affords me the opportunity to spend time with my own children as well. In my free time, I enjoy art, brainstorming new lesson ideas, cross stitch, and reading!
I offer science, art, language arts, social studies, math, and social classes for preschool and kindergarten age groups, as well as social groups for neurodivergent! Please feel free to message me with any questions!
