Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
I will teach about the main sections of the brain. I will focus on the prefrontal cortex. I will introduce and describe the five main areas of executive skills- organizing / prioritizing / flexible thinking / working memory / self-regulation. For each ESF I will provide a relevant example that the students can relate to in a classroom context.
I will invite the students to make a list of key points they learned and to post this on their bulletin board to remind themselves about ESF and how their brains work.
informal assessment - short, interactive quiz
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
