Executive Functioning Skills for Future Executives: Thursday Read Aloud Group
Class Experience
The class will start with a quick discussion about the skill we will be discussing each class. It will change from every week but will include things like planning out assignments, dealing with disappointments, focusing on our work, dealing with losing important materials, and dealing with setbacks. Since we will discuss a different topic every week you don't have to worry about your child missing anything if they are new to the class or if your child can't attend every session. We will...
- Students will make connections from what happens in our weekly story to their own lives. They will begin to reflect on their own choices and hopefully pick up a few suggestions on how to make their school day a little easier.
Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: Assessments will be informal and based on our discussions.
All your child will need is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the story. You won't need to worry about prepping anything for this class as there are no printouts or materials for you to track down.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
