Beginner Level
This class will be an interactive & engaging class. We will be reading "Ausflug mit Lama-Drama" together. Lama-Drama ist a story about a school field trip, animals, fear, bravery and self-trust. The story is told from 2 perspectives, Simon's and Namika's. Each student will read part of the story each week and we will together translate the text. Comprehension, pronunciation and conversation is going to be a big part of each class. The student will learn to answer German questions and new vocabulary. This class is good for late beginner and early intermediate. Homework will be given each week, which includes vocabulary, answering comprehension questions in German. The Book "Ausflug mit Lama-Drama" is required and can be purchase from Klett. https://www.klett-usa.com/ausflug-mit-lama-drama/t-2188/9783126740302 Note: Class needs a minimum of 3 enrolled students, for it to be held. All students need to have their camera on during class.

" Llamas, here we come" & "A carpet and staying awake"
1st Lesson: We will start with introduction and I will share my expectations. Then we will read chapter 1 "Lamas, wir kommen" and chapter 2 "Ein Teppich und Wachbleiben" in the book , answer comprehension questions. 60 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
"Stayed here?" & "All llama"
2nd Lesson: We will talk about how our week was. After this we will read chapter 3 "Hiergeblieben?" and chapter 4 " Alles Lama", answer comprehension questions. 60 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
"It remains a secret" & "Goodbye llama"
3rd Lesson: We will start with talking in German how our week was. After this we will read chapter 5 "Es bleibt ein Geheimnis" and chapter 6 " Auf Wiederlama!", answer comprehension questions. 60 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
"Train ride with a lump in throat" & "Green air and a llama pirate"
4th Lesson: We will start with talking in German how our week was. Then we will read chapter 1 in part 2 of the book "Zugfahrt mit Kloß im Hals" and chapter 2 in part 2 "Grüne Luft und ein Lama-Pirat", answer comprehension questions. 60 mins online live lesson
