Exciting Writing!: Adjectives
Class experience
We'll go over what an adjective is, why they're important, and where writers can put them in sentences. A short lesson will be followed by activities that help solidify students' understanding, such as a "show and tell" describing an object, writing a fill-in-the-blank adjective story together, and adding adjectives to simple sentences. I have an MA in English, have taught writing at the college level, and currently work as a writing tutor and substitute teacher for learners at all levels....
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn: 1. What an adjective is. 2. Where adjectives can appear in sentences. 3. How to use adjectives in their own writing and speaking.
I will send out a reference/review handout after class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
