In this 10 week, ongoing class, your child will learn to become a problem-solver. She/He will work on a weekly STEM challenge and finish knowing that he/she can persevere to find solutions using Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Our world needs more problem solvers! Help your child become a problem solver through this fun and exciting STEM class. Your child will persevere and build confidence as he/she finds ways to plan, design, problem-solve and redesign each week's STEM challenge. The science behind each challenge will help your child to increase knowledge and understanding. Week 1: Cotton Ball Launcher Week 2: Marble Maze Week 3: Hovercraft Week 4: Toothpick Tower Week 5: Pom Pom Drop Week 6: Does Your Boat Float? Week 7: Balance Structure Week 8: Building a Bridge that can hold weight Week 9: Make Your Own Windmill Week 10:Tallest Tower
Learning Goals
Your students will gain confidence and learn to persevere as they tackle fun and exciting STEM challenges. They will gain knowledge of the science behind each challenge as well.
