Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
I am excited to meet your child in the classroom!
I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I have worked with children for over 15 years and truly find joy in teaching children. I currently homeschool my 3 children as well as teach Amharic classes in Dallas, TX.
My husband and I try to make sure to teach our children Ethiopian culture as well as African history so our children can find pride in who they are. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from Baylor University and have worked in corporate training for 5 years before deciding to stay home with my children and homeschool. Teaching every day is hard work, but I can’t find anything more rewarding. And if you make it fun and engaging, children fall in love with learning and become life long learners. I look forward to teaching your children and opening the doors of Ethiopian culture through the Amharic language!
