Milo the Moth is a friendly insect. Each week in this ongoing class, learners can join Milo to solve different problems using various preschool concepts. Learners will be engaged in a high energy environment where learning is fun, playful, and sometimes a little bit silly. Each week is a new and different mystery to solve. Mysteries are independent of each other as Milo is introduced every week, along with a new and different friend. Classes will be scheduled once per week. Learners will be actively involved in an original short story that explores the world of Milo using shapes, numbers, letters, and more to solve the weekly mystery. Schedule: Week 1 : Mabel's Missing Seeds! Week 2 : Annie's Anthill! Week 3 : Marvin's Many Shoes! Week 4 : Bobby's Book! Week 5 : Susan's Scent! Week 6 : LeMont's Lost Laugh! Classes may repeat and start again once week 6 is complete. Learners should be familiar with numbers 1 - 8, in order to fully enjoy the games at the end of each story.

Hello! I offer learners the opportunity to dig deep into the fields of entomology, greenhouse growing, and academic writing.
I have a bachelors in Biological Sciences and a diploma in Greenhouse Technology. I have been teaching for over 5 years and I have experience both in the classroom and online. I’m a former college Entomology instructor, turned homeschool mother, cookie decorator, online ESL teacher and academic writing tutor. I have a passion for quality, meaningful learning that I bring to any age group or intellectual level.
I believe teaching should be fun, engaging and interactive. I stand by the idea that students learn best in an environment that allows them the freedom to explore, be creative and think critically.
Personally, I enjoy hiking, reading, and baking artistic treats. I also run a small cookie business.
You will find my personality, experiences and interests sprinkled into each lesson as I strive to relate and stay relevant to students. I look forward to welcoming you into my classroom.
