Description

Class Experience

Come explore the weird, wonderful, and fascinating topic of insects and other arthropods from around the world. Lessons will discuss scientific concepts about arthropods, including Life Cycle, Ecology, Morphology, Habitat and more. 

Each week we will focus on one species. Topics may change based on students' interest and/ or world topics. 
Lessons are fun, engaging and interactive. At the end of each lesson, a team challenge game will be played to demonstrate learner comprehension....

Drawing utensils and paper for taking notes

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

This course presents an unabridged view of an insect and its life. Topics will include predation and reproduction which can vary and sometimes be graphic in nature. All topic are approached scientifically and in an age appropriate way.
