Description
Class Experience
Each week in this ongoing course, learners will explore the life and world of a new single arthropod; we will cover vocabulary words and meaning, life cycle, ecology, morphology and more that make the world of each arthropod so fascinating. As with many of my classes, learners will interact with myself and each other to develop critical thinking. Presentation slides with visuals and short video clips will help support discussion as learners are brought into the learning process. Comprehension...
Paper and drawing supplies are recommended for in class activities each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be taking a scientific and complete look at insects which will include many predator-prey interactions. Short video clips may be used for illustrative purposes but warning of more graphic content will be provided.
