Exciting Alphabet Adventures- Flex

Hello! My name is Ms. Helen. Hyrax, huckleberry, horsefly, hook, and hare also start with the letter h! In this class, students will listen to one ABC story each week. They will have fun finding things in their environment that relate to the story. Each week a video will be posted on the classroom page for students to listen to the story. All class videos will be posted on Wednesday. After the story, students will find something at home or in their neighborhood to take a picture of that relates to the story of the week. Parents will assist the students in taking the picture and uploading it to the classroom page. I hope that parents will show their children pictures that other students (and the teacher!) posted. Ask your child what they like about the picture and post a comment on the thread. Examples could be a picture of a flower near your house, an animal at the zoo that you visited, or even an "icky" bug in your backyard. For books where you cannot find a picture at home or in your neighborhood, there are coloring sheets attached that your child can color and you can upload the picture of the coloring sheet on our classroom discussion page. I am so exited to see how creative your child is!
