I have an BA hons in English Literature from Sheffield University, am a trained ESL teacher, and have industry experience as a copy writer and copy editor.
You will have planned an essay in your first class which you will write (to a set time) for homework and then work on in the second class.
I will provide all external resources so learners will only need their computer and potentially a notebook and pen if this is how they prefer to make notes.
All learners will receive feedback throughout class and a detailed verbal critique of their written work.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will refer to The Critical Reader, Barons, Kaplan, Cambridge, and College Board, among other publishers providing tailored support for exam preparation.
