In this one-time class students will discover the history and music of musical artist Van Halen, from their origins and formation to the height of success and beyond. We will look at their career milestones, guitar and drum styles, and their influence on other artists of their era. We will discuss their most popular songs, listen to audio selections, and view clips of their music videos. Learners will come away from the course with a better understanding of the group, their music, and how they played a major role in the rock & roll world in the 1970s and 80's.
