Students will gain an understanding in all areas of small breed puppy care. To include: personality characteristics, behavior, breed standard appearance, color variations, grooming, medical conditions, behavioral issues, housebreaking, food, health and nutrition, and everything necessary to bring your puppy home.
I have been a small, in-home Yorkie breeder for 15 years having raised close to 25 puppies to adulthood and through their senior years in that time. I have delivered nearly 100 Yorkie pups in that time myself and assisted others in delivering their own Yorkie pups and raised them following all AKC guidelines. I'm registered with both breed standard registries, APRI and AKC. I have learned through mentorship, classes, and trial and error, what is required to raise a happy, housebroken, nutritionally sound Yorkie dog.
