Description

Class Experience

I taught Art and Design and Photography in schools and colleges in the UK for over 13 years. In addition to this I have run hundreds of art workshops for children both in the UK and Ireland.
I am proud to develop and run Future Creatives workshops for budding artists age 6+ (both online and in person) for the University of the Arts London (UAL) which comprises of 6 colleges, among them Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts.
I am passionate about promoting the creative process in children and am always positive, friendly and encouraging! I specialise in helping children with low self-confidence in art improve their skills and rediscover the joy of making art.
No formal homework although learners will progress faster by practising between classes!
Learners will need: - Plenty of paper or a sketchbook - A fibre-tipped or ball-point black pen (a larger one too for filling in black areas quickly would be useful) - Coloured pens, pencils or crayons If learners cannot get a black pen in time for the lesson, they are still more than welcome to join and draw in pencil.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
