Have you been working on a new creation in Minecraft? Do you want to show it off to others? As students show off their Minecraft skills, they will also be enhancing their communication skills. After each person shares their builds, students will be given the opportunity to ask questions. In addition to asking questions, students will also be encouraged to give compliments. Every learner is unique and thus completes the challenge in their own creative way. Therefore, I will help students to realize it is important to recognize others strengths and give compliments when due. Students may build on whatever version of Minecraft they have in creative mode. Please remember, we want to make this fun for everyone so please refrain from any negative comments about other student's builds they are sharing. Hello, thank you for showing interest in my classes! My name is Alyssa Thurow and I received my Associates Degree in Business Administration in 2016. In addition to online teaching, I have been a substitute teacher for the last 3 years. Throughout the last three years I have worked with children of all ages teaching a variety of subjects. I have found through my experience that children can grasp a topic or life skill so much quicker through the use of visual aids and games. My ultimate goal for when students leave my class is that they learned skills that will help them further their educational journey while having a good time doing it.
