Description
Class Experience
Throughout this course, learners will get practice with: - place value, how to read the decimals correctly, and rounding. - comparing (greater, less, or equal to) and sort in ascending to descending. - add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals. - solve word problems
There will be practice problems assigned outside of the video lessons.
Paper and pencil; a whiteboard and expo, if you prefer.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Third-party apps and websites may be used as part of this class. Students may need to log in and/or create accounts to use those applications/websites. Practice problems and activities will be posted in Jamboard, Google Forms, Pear Deck. Any links and codes used will be shared with the families/students only in the Outschool Classroom. Video lessons will be posted on YouTube with a safe link in the Outschool Classroom.
