Calling all Animal lovers! In this ongoing course, your young artist will learn fun facts about a new mystery animal each week and then complete their own drawing of it as they are guided step-by-step through directed drawing.

Class experience
As a certified elementary teacher, experienced in student inquiry, I will build upon your child's love of animals! Each class, students will learn some fun facts about a weekly mystery animal. I will choose the animal for our first class. Then we will make a list of what animals the students would like to learn and draw about. Each week, I will choose one of the animals off of our list to be the mystery animal. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own knowledge of...
Students will learn facts about how to take care of animals. Students will use their oral communication skills to ask questions and share experiences. Students will develop fine motor control by drawing animals. Students will develop listening skills, focus and creativity by completing a directed drawing of animals.
Please bring paper, a pencil, and colouring tools.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
