I am very excited to meet your scholar in my upcoming classes!
Teaching is my passion and I truly love it! I hold a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Masters Degree in Educational Theory and Practice. I have a state teaching licensing in the state of Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas! I have completed eleven years of teaching in elementary, in the public school setting. I am in the process of completing my National Board Certification. I have taught and tutored students in Pre-K through eighth grade. During my teaching career, I have also tutored in after school programs, in reading and math. During the summer months, I am a director for an amazing technology camp, for children ages 7 to age 17, where students are taught to code, build, design and create amazing things through technology.
I do not look as teaching as a mandatory job, instead I view it as something that is a privilege to empower the youth and rewarding to the student and myself. I also have two highly energetic children that I enjoy teaching on a daily basis, in a variety of settings. I believe that our day is full of fun, teachable moments. My philosophy of teaching is that every child can learn, when given the right resources and opportunities. Every child strives to do their best, when their learning style is met.
I plan impact students in a great ways and provide them with an abundance of confidence that they need and will forever remember and grow up to be one of the best leaders that this world has seen. I offer a variety of classes. I am planning to add more classes, based on requests. So please, send your requests my life. Most classes will be designed for early learners, while others will be more for a multiple levels of different reading and math content.
Feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments. I reply to special requests, promptly. I would love to hear your thoughts and goals for your scholar! I hope to add to your child's educational journey and success, soon!
