Description
Class Experience
My degree is in History with an emphasis in American History. While studying in my undergrad I specifically took a course based on all eras of American History. I have successfully taught my own students in the physical classroom for the past two years over topics that will be discussed in this course! My minor in my degree is also in Social Sciences. I have taken multiple courses in psychology, sociology and the study of people. This allows me to gauge when a student may need. If your student may need additional emotional, mental or physical assistance I am certified by my state to do so with my Special Education licensure.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will discuss the weaponry and gravity of hosting these weapons in Cuba. This topic will not be discussed in detail, but only referred to as facts. Very little time will be spent on these facts, as to ensure that the students know the statistics but do not go into great detail over these facts. These topics are very important to the historical event, but will be taught in an age appropriate manner. This is why the age level is 13-18 as to ensure they are aware of these sensitive facts. It is extremely important as to explain why the United States responded in the way that they did.
