Description
Class Experience
This class is a continuation of Edgy Origami for Preteens. Please sign up only if your learner has taken the first class OR has recent experience in origami folding and has mastered the Crane, Kite, and Balloon bases and a few simple items using those bases. Learners will continue to learn the ancient art of origami and develop the skills needed to follow directions and diagrams for creating traditional origami items such as hearts, cranes and locusts. Then each type of fold will be taught...
Learners will: Improve their understanding of the art of origami, it's origins and traditions. Develop habits of accuracy and mental focus Practice the skill of following directions Create more advanced items requiring an extended number of more advanced folds.
