Class Experience
Hello Little Adventurers! Little adventurers, travellers, artists and scientists will explore the continent of Europe through continent and country studies, arts and crafts and science experiments! For the week learners will be provided with a workbook. This workbook will include worksheets and further activities to do at home! For the art and science activities, learners will have a copy of the instructions for the craft or activity that will be completed in class! The workbook will also...
Identify and locate the continent and country. Talk about key features and characteristics of a continent and country. To gain a hands on understanding of the world around us through STEAM projects. Use their fine motor skills and creativity to create arts and crafts projects.
Learners will have additional activities in their workbooks that support in-class learning.
Craft: Coloured card / Tissue Paper / Scissors / Clear liquid glue & brush / Piece of plastic (you can use plastic from a sandwich bag, clear plastic document pockets / poly pockets, plastic bag) STEAM: 1 lemon cut in half (a lime or orange would also work) /Food colouring / Baking soda / powder and spoon / Dish Soap / Tray or plate / Fork
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please supervise learners fully and support (off camera) where needed during crafts and science classes to ensure safe use of all equipment.
