I have taught middle school and high school English in public schools in Missouri and Colorado and have taught on Outschool for a couple of years now. I am trained in literary analysis and close-reading where rhetorical arguments and devices play a major role in critical reading and reading comprehension. I run classes in Socratic Seminar formats that utilize these skills in class and that teach students these same skills. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
