In this one-time course, students will learn about rhetorical argument devices that are used in advertisements through a discussion of the elements used by businesses to persuade people to purchase their products.

I have taught middle school and high school English in public schools in Missouri and Colorado and have taught on Outschool for a couple of years now. I am trained in literary analysis and close-reading where rhetorical arguments and devices play a major role in critical reading and reading comprehension.
