Essential Writing & Composition Skills: Writing Essays 1 with Funtastic Phil! 

In this class, students will learn effective brainstorming, outlining, and organizing skills for effective writing. Each student will work on their own personalized writing project which they will present to the class during the fourth meeting.

Students will learn effective brainstorming, outlining, and organizing skills for effective writing.

*I am a high school English Teacher of the Year with 20+ years of teaching experience for elementary, middle, and high school!
*I am a professional writer and test prep tutor for English reading and writing examinations.

Students will have a written assignment that they will turn for expert teacher review and feedback between classes. The homework should take no longer than 30-60 minutes total/week.
Homework will be sent to students before each class session to be printed for class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Informal feedback in class + individualized and personalized expert teacher review of assignments between classes.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

This is a kids friendly safe place. Everything is G-rated. No bad language. No inappropriate images.
YouTube videos and/or music (occasionally; pre-selected; G-Rated)

Materials for these lessons are primarily curriculum resources related to reading and writing.
