 Week 8
Lesson 8
Essential Grooves and Patterns Week 8
Week 8 is the finale of the course and it has a slightly different approach to the earlier weeks. This lesson is all about essential combined elements. Combining the hand patterns and rudiments from the earlier weeks into an extended warm up exercise and then working on the application of those rudiments as fills while in the flow of a groove... putting all the pieces together!
After this 8 weeks the student will have a much deeper understanding of the fundamental foundations of drumming, strong technique and will have a much larger repertoire of grooves/fills and basic knowledge. This will provide a springboard into a much wider world of the drums!
