Students will learn practical steps to transition rough drafts into complete, polished final drafts.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the past several years I have taught small group classes on essay writing, including how to write thesis statements.
1 file available upon enrollment-a non-black ink pen (blue, red, green, etc) -handouts will be provided before class, to be printed before class begins
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed through class discussion to ensure student understanding and so I, as the teacher, can adapt the class to student's needs. There is no formal assessment.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
