Description
Class Experience
Students will grow in their understanding of the paragraph writing process, and in their ability to write quality paragraphs.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the past several years I have taught small group English classes, including how to write paragraphs.
No homework is required, but students are welcome to write paragraphs outside of class and submit them to me for feedback
1 file available upon enrollmentA PDF will be provided for students when they begin this course. To participate in class students need paper and something to write with or the ability to open a separate document for writing during class (i.e. google docs).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed through class discussion and practice to ensure student understanding and so I, as the teacher, can adapt the class to student's needs. There is no formal assessment.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
