Class Experience

Students will grow in their understanding of the paragraph writing process, and in their ability to write quality narrative, informative, and opinion paragraphs.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the past several years I have taught small group English classes, including how to write paragraphs.
Homework in this class is optional. Students will have the option to write a paragraph each day following the pattern we used in class. There will be time at the beginning of the last two classes to share student writing. Additionally, students can use what they learn in this class to complete homework in other courses.
paper, pencil PDF supplied by instructor, to be printed before class
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed through class discussion and practice to ensure student understanding and so I, as the teacher, can adapt the class to student's needs. There is no formal assessment.
