Esports Gaming Club: Rocket League Weekly Training!

DESCRIPTION
Come have fun while learning to play Rocket League, one of the BIGGEST competitive Esports games in the world! Rocket League is a one of a kind game that lets you play soccer with rocket powered cars that can do flips and fly, all while strategically working with your team to outscore your opponents. Join our expert instructors and rise through the ranks, learning the mechanics and how to work as a team!

Class Goals:

*Learn Teamwork and Communication: Develop effective communication skills and coordination with your teammates. Understand the importance of rotations, and how to properly call out your plays.

*Master the Mechanics: There are new mechanics still being discovered every year, and the skill ceiling has yet to be found. Build the muscle memory required for important skills such as flips, powersliding, aerials, wavedashes, and so much more!

*Understand Defense and Offense: Gain a comprehensive understanding of both defending and attacking positions. Learn to work with your team to ensure everyone is correctly rotating to make amazing plays.

*Learn About the Esports Scene: Learn some general history of Esports and the current Esports landscape. Watch pro level gameplay, learning how to break down and understand what is happening, and learn how to analyze personal replays in conjunction with pro strats.

*Boost Confidence and Game Sense: Our goal is not only to improve your technical skills but also to instill confidence in your abilities. Develop a deep understanding of the mental aspects of the game, the arena awareness, and game sense to make quick, calculated decisions that take advantage of critical moments.

ONLINE SAFETY
While this class is about socializing and having fun with peers it is also a chance for learners to learn how to interact with others online in a responsible, respectful way. Guild of Imagination Virtual Masters are there to give guidance and to show that we should all show the same kindness online that we do in real life.

Let's face it, the world of online gaming  is not always the safest for our learners. Guild of Imagination provides a safe place for your learner to meet other children their age around the world all while interacting in ways never before possible. And the best part is that this experience is in a safe place where they can have fun and not worry about the dangers of online gaming.

At the start of each class we will join a private room with a room code we generate and a gamer tag may be necessary to share with the teacher only.

Because this is an ongoing club, learners will be able to drop in and out as their schedule requires.

GUILD OF IMAGINATION BADGES
Explorer - This type of class is for learners that like to solve mysteries, explore new worlds and discover the unique advantages of virtual reality and online gaming.

SERVERS AND REFUNDS
Rocket League is played in a private room created each class. This ensures a safe environment for each learner enrolled in the class. While you are enrolled we will provide a 50% refund with 24 hours notice of an upcoming absence. This will save a learner's spot in the class for a week they can't attend.
