You have now learned the basics of Spanish, and you have started learning about sentence formations, verb conjugations, and you are having even more conversations in Spanish! It is, once again, time to take it to the next level! This course is the 2nd half of your Spanish 2 class. Students will build upon the basics of the Spanish language, which they have already learned. They will practice grammatical rules and concepts, as well as learn new ones. They will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish.
I studied Spanish abroad in Costa Rica, have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Education and I taught Spanish in a public middle school and online.
There will not be written homework every week, however, Students are expected to study using materials provided by the teacher each week. Students will be responsible for practicing and studying their lessons between classes. It is extremely important that the students study and practice outside of the class in order to learn the Language.
Paper and Pencil for note taking (recommended). Vocabulary lists will be provided by the teacher. Any other work materials will be provided by the teacher.
There will be periodic review classes, dedicated to checking for understanding and making sure none of the students are behind. the Teacher will periodically assess the student's abilities and understanding and will advise the student on study focuses throughout the course. Students will present a project at the end of the course that will show what they have learned throughout the course, and they will receive a grade score out of 100 at the end of the class.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
