Description

Class Experience

By the end of each class, students will be able to fluently speak the target sentences and phrases.
I am a certified teacher and tutor. I have taught reading and ESL/ELL for over eight years. I am trained in Direct Instruction as well as the Natural Method approach. I use evidence and researched based practices for all lessons.
Students should complete the FLEX "Let's Practice English" Google Slide activity sheets. If students aren't enrolled in the FLEX class, then they should practice repeating the target sentences and phrases for homework.
Students may want to have a tab open to their Google Slides from the FLEX "Let's Practice English" course. If students are not a part of this course, then it is suggested to bring a pencil and a sheet of paper to class to copy the target sentences.
Students will be given a series of informal assessments during class. Students will also be given additional suggestions via chat after class if needed.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
