This class will be tailored to each student's ability and cover a wide range of topics using a well-known, U.S. curriculum that covers reading, comprehension, grammar, spelling and speaking. The curriculum for younger students includes sight words and phonics. All students will gain fluency, learn correct sentence formation, and understand common U.S. grammar usage. I use colorful animated google slide presentations to keep children engaged, along with a game reward for each class. There is a lot of laughter in my classroom! The student will read a story, answer comprehension questions, and be encouraged to express his or her likes about a variety of topics during conversation and social skills practice. The student should have at least 1 year experience learning English.
