ESL Tutoring With Curriculum - Phonics, Vocabulary, & Grammar

Hello! I am Christine. I have been an online ESL teacher for over six years and have taught over 6,000 classes. I have obtained a 120 Hour TESOL certificate from International Open Academy. I am looking forward to helping your child become more confident with speaking and reading in English. 

This is a tutoring class for English language learners of all levels. I will be using a quality, structured ESL curriculum. I have experience using different curriculums. The one that I will be using for this class is my favorite. The curriculum uses real life scenarios and repetition to help engage students while learning. It has seven levels starting with foundational English going all the way through Mastering English Communication. The curriculum is designed to allow students to practice phonics, vocabulary, reading, and grammar skills. Students will practice speaking in complete sentences. I will assess students and feedback will be provided to parents.

Level 1 - Foundational English - Students will begin understanding and using simple English words and phrases.
Level 2 - Expanding Basic Skills - Students will begin forming sentences, recognizing more words, and improving pronunciation and confidence in speaking.
Level 3 - Elementary English - Students will speak in longer sentences, ask and answer more complex questions, and start reading short passages.
Level 4 - Pre-Intermediate - Students will begin using English more naturally in conversations and develop reading and comprehension skills.
Level 5 - Intermediate - Students will read more fluently, discuss ideas, and build communication skills.
Level 6 - Refining English Proficiency - Students will gain independence in reading, writing, and speaking. 
Level 7 - Mastering English Communication - Students will be able to hold conversations, debate topics, and read complex materials.
