Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! I am Teacher Donnell and I LOVE teaching on Outschool!

Classes I teach:
Preschool - I offer private preschool tutoring!

ESL / EFL – English language learning for beginners, intermediate/advanced conversational skills, and private tutoring! I am a native English speaker from the United States.

Professional Background:
•	Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a fine arts emphasis
•	ESL Endorsement
•	4 years teaching 5th grade
•	7 years teaching kindergarten
•	3 years teaching with VIPKID
•	2 years teaching ESL and Preschool on Outschool

Teaching Philosophy: I enjoy encouraging learners to be involved and engaged through a computer screen with hands-on activities, sharing, getting to know each other, and discussing topics of interest to the learners. I always work to inspire learners to continue their learning after class and to look forward to their next class.

Something Fun About Me:
I love camping, traveling, and the great outdoors. I have been to 41 of the 50 states and visited 37 of our inspiring national parks with a goal to visit all 63 of them someday. My 4 children, ages 9, 7, 4 and a baby, have accompanied my husband and I on many of our adventures. My oldest has Down syndrome, and she brings great joy and purpose to my life in raising awareness and teaching others about Down syndrome, diversity, and differences. I love my chocolate goldendoodle dog, my saltwater fish tank, and fuzzy sea otters!
