In this class, I'll help motivated beginning English learners improve their reading, speaking, and listening skills. By reading, analyzing, and discussing The Princess in Black, well improve a variety of English skills and build confidence. I provide opportunities for every child to talk and receive immediate feedback about word choices, grammar, and pronunciation. My goal is an interactive experience for all students. Students will improve their reading and speaking skills. They will learn the elements of plot: character, setting, conflict, and resolution. Students will also learn how adjectives and adverbs are used in English to make characters and settings more interesting.
