This on going class is perfect for early ESL readers. We will use any type of modeling clay and our print outs to create new words in our word family each week. We will learn how to read, spell, and rhyme new English words! This on going class will introduce a different family of words each week. When children understand how to blend 2 sounds together (a and t say “at”) they can put them together to make a new word (cat, pat, sat). We will use picture cards and letters to make different...
Learners will be provided with a printout each week, they will also need scissors, glue, and any type of modeling clay (does not have to be flour based for those with allergies).
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is required for use of scissors.
