ESL Readers & Writers: English Club for English Language Learners

In this ongoing class, learners alternate between reading and writing adventures. One week, they discuss novels in a book club; the next week, they explore various genres of writing. Readers are writers, and writers are readers!

Class Experience

The founder of Lemons-Aid, Mrs. Lemons has a B.A. in English and an M.Ed in Education Administration. She is certified to teach English, has a principal's license, and has many years of experience at every level. She also supervises teachers in their undergraduate and graduate level teacher preparation programs at Colorado Christian University. She is a teacher of teachers. 

All teachers who teach this class have an appropriate degree, teaching experience, and training, giving your learner a teacher who is a  content-area expert who loves kids. Further, these teachers have been teaching ESL / EFL for many years and are TESOL and TEFL certified. Mrs. Lemons is very selective and only hires the very best. They are star teachers!

Writing class homework will take students about 15-20 minutes. 
Reading class homework: students read the entire book before class.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
